What led you to Perfect Patients?
Years ago, when I was a chiropractic assistant, I heard about an opportunity with Perfect Patients as I was preparing to move out of the country. I didn't end up with that position, but I kept my eye out for the right one, knowing that I would love working with this company. I have a heart for chiropractic and natural health solutions and I was excited to support chiropractors by building amazing websites.
After my husband and I returned home to Ohio, I was hired to work in our client support department, then a few months later I moved into production. Seeing the pieces of a website come together is fascinating. The best part is getting to know our doctors and understanding their mission for their patients, then striving to make that come alive in their online presence.
How has chiropractic changed your life?
I've been a chiropractic patient for quite some time, and it particularly helped me during pregnancy. My youngest was adjusted days after he was born. He's been my fussiest baby, so when he gets cranky, I know it's time for an adjustment!
What keeps you busy outside of work?
My four young boys! We homeschool, so I don't have a lot of free time. I have a lot of interests, though, like reading, painting and other creative outlets. I'm currently learning the art of hand lettering.
Is there anything about you that people are usually surprised to find out?
I married a military man who was stationed in Korea at the time and came home on leave for our wedding. We met up in Germany two months later to start our life together. Over our three years there, we traveled all over – Prague, Berlin, the Mediterranean, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia – though our last trip wasn't as long because I was eight months pregnant at the time! We really enjoyed our time in Europe and can't wait to take our boys back one day!
